چکیده
Abstract. This essay presents Challenge-Based Learning with a student-oriented perspective in Geoscience showing how digital mapping constitutes useful tool for teaching geomatic, geographical, urban and tourism disciplines. Focused on real-life case studies, it stimulates students to acquire integrated hard soft skills an active collaborative way, let them be protagonists of their educational path. The learning strategy adopted within some master’s courses at the University Bergamo (Italy) is presented aim offering overview its usefulness context Geospatial Information Science spatial planning, respect environment ecosystems, bio-diversity territories and, also, vocations place communities living it. All these aspects are addressed through use cartography, intended not only as Euclidean system representation, but also interactive archive spatial, environmental, socio-economic human information continuous transformation evolution. In “Geo-urban Planning” “Planning Management Tourism Systems”, Challenge-based approach experimented studies processes transfer Geosciences competencies allow adopt measures regeneration, landscape enhancement slow promotion.
